Reopening Policies and Guidelines
At MBC, we appreciate your support and patience with us through this unfortunate pandemic. We have been doing our part by participating in social distancing and staying home to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As of now, we are planning to open back up on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 when we are expected to begin Phase 1. We are closely following Dane County’s Forward Dane Plan found here: https://publichealthmdc.com/coronavirus/forward-dane. We are currently in the “prepare for safe reopening phase” which allows us to be at the studio making changes to create the safest environment we can for both you as students and us as instructors.
What lessons will be offered?
Personal lessons with couples from the same household and individuals as long as we maintain a six foot distance in Phase 1 by appointment only. At this time we will not be offering group classes or parties.
What should I know before coming to my lesson?
We ask that you wait in your car until five minutes before your lesson begins and leave immediately after your lesson. You must wear a face mask during your lesson. Please use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the studio. You will be asked to wash your hands before your lesson begins. Bring your own already filled water bottle to your lesson.
What are you doing to sanitize the studio?
Sanitation is more important than ever. We are committed to keeping you and us as safe as possible by making changes to our studio seating to maintain social distancing and we ask that you stay in your car until five minutes before your appointment time and leave as soon as your lesson is done. Lessons will now be scheduled on the hour to prevent too many students from being in the studio at one time and this also gives us time to sanitize before our next lessons. We also are prohibited from self-dispensing any unpackaged food or beverages. Please bring your own filled water bottle to your lessons at this time.
Will I need to wear a mask to my lesson?
Yes. Please bring a mask to your appointment. We will not perform any lessons at this time if you refuse to wear one. If you forget to bring one along, we will have disposable masks for sale for $3 and will be added to your lesson total.
Can I bring someone with me to my lesson?
At this time, no. Come alone to your lesson. We will be operating under capacity restrictions for phase 1 of reopening and cannot have extra people in the studio. No children, friends, family members, etc will be allowed to join at this time.
If anything changes that will affect our reopening date, we will be in touch. Please continue to follow us on Facebook for up-to-date communication. We have been so touched and overwhelmed with your kind words and generosity. We miss you very much and look forward to seeing you soon!
