Nope! We switch partners in all classes so everyone gets the chance to dance, meet new people and learn 35% faster.
Ballroom dancing is one of the most beginner friendly types of dance. You'll be surprised how much you learn after just one class.
We always recommend clothes that you can move comfortably in. For ballroom classes, business casual is recommend most. For Latin and nightclub dances such as salsa or country two step, we recommend wearing something more casual such as jeans.
We always recommend designating a pair of shoes specifically for dancing that are wiped clean and free of dirt and stones. You'll want to wear something completely secured to your foot and flat such as a ballet flat for ladies and a dress shoe for gentlemen. We do not recommend tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops, or socks.
Because each class builds on the one before it, everyone starts together. This allows everyone to progress at the same pace, making the class more enjoyable and less frustrating. Think of it like taking four chapters of the same book. You wouldn't want to start on chapter three!
